Candidate will support our clients operations as a member of Tier 3 SharePoint as a Service (SPaaS) team. This team is responsible for very large, mission-critical SharePoint environment with Test, User Acceptance Test, and Production environments running on cloud-based infrastructure. The system is currently running in SharePoint 2010 with planned upgrade to SharePoint 2016 later this year. Candidate will provide technical guidance on SharePoint "best practices", participate in team-based tuning and deployment activities, as well as investigations into system issues.
Candidate will be able to work effectively with a distributed team of coworkers, be self-directed and motivated, and be able to both solve problems and document the resolution.
Since communications may be either partially or entirely remote, the candidate will have excellent communications skill including email, phone, and Skype.
Additional duties will be to work with on-staff developers and third-party SharePoint add-on vendors to install their products and diagnose issues.
